How I'm making more money with less traffic
| I've been dealing with mice in my garage for the last few months and I finally got rid of them except now I've run into an even bigger problem... Cleaning up the huge mess they made. They defecated all over my garage floor and all over my stuff. The other day I had a guy come by and give me a quote for cleaning up the mess. Want to know how much he quoted me? $2,500 😳 I asked him why it was so expensive when it would only take half a day of work and his answer made complete economical sense... There aren't a lot of companies willing to do this kind of cleanup because it's gross, plus I guess rat feces is a health hazard. Talk about a niche business and situation. You can often charge a lot more when you're selling a niche product or service people want because they don't have a lot of options for something so specialized. This same concept is true for niche blogs that get traffic from Pinterest, Facebook, etc. The more niche your audience and content are, the more specific and clear it is about who you reach. I call this a "defined audience." And you know who loves to spend money reaching defined audiences? Niche companies and brands. I've got niche sites that dropped over 50% in traffic because of Google, yet their revenue didn't drop as much as traffic because of one thing: I figured out how to get companies to pay me to write sponsored blog posts that reach my defined audience and their ideal customer. What I've come to learn is that you don't need to have a lot of traffic to get companies to give you cash for writing a blog post... you just need:
Finding the right business and pitching were the most challenging parts for me, but once I learned how Lindsay does it and used her templates, it's way easier now to find businesses to sponsor a blog post and, most importantly... how to find the best person to pitch. I used to think finding sponsors and dealing with sponsored posts was a waste of time and not worth the money until Lindsay introduced me to her S.P.O.N.S.O.R. method and showed me how she was making an extra six figures from sponsorships on top of her regular ad revenue. It's helped me diversify my revenue, and the low RPMs in January are less harsh to deal with when you've got sponsorship money rolling in :) Learn which sites and tools Lindsay uses to find companies who are ready to hand out sponsorship money to niche blogs. (Knowing these tools alone is worth the cost of the course - they were a big piece of the sponsorship puzzle I was missing). Course enrollment and the $100 discount ends this Friday. P.S. I co-own a site that was crushed by Google last year... it sucks seeing traffic so low (around 1,000 per day), yet we were able to land a $5k sponsored blog post (literally just one post!):
P.P.S Here are answers to the most popular questions I've been getting about this course: Do I need to have a social media presence? No, this course teaches you how to get sponsored blog posts and tools, but it also works for newsletters and social media if you happen to be active for them! Will this work if my traffic is going down? Lindsay released this course specifically because niche site owners have been hurting. All the while her traffic was going down she bagged a $15,500 deal from a sponsor! They were happy with the results, too. Traffic numbers aren't everything when it comes to sponsorships (you just have to know how to pitch it right). So yeah this can work while traffic is going down. You need a floor, of course (we estimate it to be around 700 clicks per day), but you can make up for the lack of impressive traffic in a few ways that we teach inside the course. What makes this course different? It's the only course (that I know of at least) that is designed to get you your first sponsor within 30 days. It's also the only one specifically for niche sites. Moreover, it's the only one that offers word-for-word emails and all the templates you need to make this work in a step-by-step manner. Plus, if you follow the course, take action, and still don't see results within 3 months, Lindsay will personally help you fine-tune your approach to what you are doing. |
