How I get millions of Pinterest traffic using PinClicks
| I've read a ton of patents and white papers published by Pinterest and I've narrowed down their top 3 ranking signals. The coolest part is that PinClicks helps you improve your pins to target all 3 of them... Here's what they are and how PinClicks helps: (Side note: Your free PinClicks trial ends tomorrow. You can upgrade here) Ranking Signal #1: Saves When someone saves a pin to a board, Pinterest considers that the biggest win. The more people save, the longer they use Pinterest. PinClicks shows you the # of saves for any pin you want with the Pin Stats tool and the Top Pins tool. These are the pins you'll want to pay very close attention if you'll be creating something on the same topic. Ranking Signal #2: Keywords Like traditional SEO, Pinterest heavily relies on the words within pin titles, descriptions, etc.. The Keyword Research tool help you identify the exact keywords to target for any pin you see. The Top Pins tool shows you all the words these top pins are using in their titles and descriptions, which you should take note of. (Keep an eye out for an upcoming feature that will make it easier to get all the most common keywords used in top pins!) Ranking Signal #3: Matching Interests Pinterest is all about interests. They have a huge database of interests (topics/things). (PinClicks has access to this database and made it searchable with the Interest Explorer tool 😉) If you can get Pinterest to properly associate your pin with their official database of interests, your pin will get more visibility. PinClicks shows you the exact interests associated with any pin via the Keyword Annotations that shows up below any pin you hover over within the app. To best utilize this, identify a top pin for a keyword you want to rank for and look at its keyword annotations (interests). Make sure you're using those words and phrases in your pin title, description, image alt, and article text. Without PinClicks, all of this information would be technical or time-consuming. Which is why most creators on Pinterest have no idea about these 3 ranking signals and even if they did, it's difficult for them to figure out how to do anything about it. But not you. Using PinClicks will get you all of this juicy information in a few clicks. If you're ready to start creating pins that send you traffic...
